First Tale: Not in Storybrooke, Maine anymore [Action/ AccidentVideo]

[Henry has found himself waking up on a very cold day in Luceti on the outskirts of the village. It takes him a bit to gather his bearings and to find his winter coat nearby him. Putting it on he sits there for a moment to look around. Yup, this wasn't home. Did he get here by magic? And if so, was this the Enchanted Forest?

Looking nearby he see's a journal with his name on it. Very strange. Why would a journal that he never had have his name? Someone must have brought him here.

Opening it up he begins flipping through the pages. It was looking to be some kind of guide. Maybe it had a map?

When it proves to becoming difficult to try and find a map in this journal, he begins to wander into the village, tightly holding his  jacket closed. He doesn't want to even think what bad guy put him in a raggy pair of pants. But he starts to call out for anyone around.]

Hello? Anyone here? Gram-pa are you here?

[A little kid wandering around looking lost? Welcome to New Feather season.

Rogue paused on the way out of the Item Shop.]

Hey. Ya all right?

[Henry looks up to the girl curiously. Well, she's not in his book. Considering he's only wearing a winter jacket and those new feather pants, all right isn't the words he'd use.]

Can you tell me where I am? This can't be Storybrooke.

[ action ]

[...Storybrooke. Oy.]

Nah. It sure ain't Storybrooke. [She gives him a small smile.] What's your name, sugah?

[spohkh]

[Spock notices the small child calling out... obviously lost. Curious... this must be what they call 'new feathers'...]

Greetings, I am Spock. Are you in need of assistance?

[Well, thankfully Henry doesn't have that sense of 'Stranger danger' so he'll walk over to Spock a bit.]

Yeah, I am. Do you think you could tell me where I am?

[spohkh]

You are in Luceti... a rather curious place that has a strange and illogical tendency to trap people within its barriers...

All pertinent information should be found in your journal.

May I inquire as to your name?

[Wait, is the journal talking to him? Looking down at it he see's another boy inside it.]

A New Feather? What's that? And do you know where I am?

I do think the feathery part refers to the wings that are attached to everyone's back and the new to the fact that you are, well, new here.

[Loki nods.]

Aye! You are close to the village called The Village. In the land of Luceti.

[Jason was just heading back to his apartment when he notices Henry wandering around, looking... well, New Feather-ly. He doesn't look to be much younger than he is, and he might need help, so Jason walks over. At least helping New Feathers is something he can do just fine without his Robin costume.]

Hey, kid. Looking for something?

[Henry turns to the boy that just came up to him. He's holding his jacket over himself but he nods to his question.]

I'm trying to find out where I am. This isn't Storybrooke and I gotta find my home. Gramps has got enough to worry about.

It's called Luceti. You're kind of stuck here—we all are. But if what they say is true, Gramps might not have much to worry about.

[It's meant to be reassuring. Kind of. He holds out a hand.]

[A ridiculously tall marine (think 6'8" or so) is walking by when he hears Henry's voice.]

Why does everyone think I'm old enough to be a Grandfather? [Sighs. It's not you kid, just everyone else. But Smoker bends down and tries to look less generally intimidating.] You lost kid? Who's the Grandfather you're looking for?

His Storybrooke name is David Nolan, but he either goes by James or Prince Charming. He's a bit shorter than you and has short brown hair. He's also got a sheriff's badge.

But, I'm guessing I'm not in Storybrooke.

I'm Henry and I'm ten, but yeah, I do. Can you tell me how I got here?

[ She swaps to written for half a second to direct him here, though. ]

That guide has all the stuff we know in it! More or less, anyway. I'm Ikki! I'm seven, and I've been here a while. You're a new feather, so basically right now you just need to know DO NOT hurt your wings they are your life! And also any special powers are gonna be cut in half. And also also you should head over to the Welcome Center to see if anyone you know is here!

Um, yeah I do...but how come you're a skeleton?

[He wants to ask if the guy is cursed or not but will keep from going too far.]

[Emil is just on his way back home when he notices Henry wandering around in New Feather pants and a coat. And since it's getting cold outside, he figures it can't hurt to offer:]

Hey, um, are you cold? You can come inside and warm up for a little if you want.

[Henry will look over at the blond boy who has just offered him a warm place. Now normally he's told not to go with strangers, but again he's alone and cold and this boy doesn't seem very threatening.]

Yes, please.

[And he'll begin hobbling over in his frozen state.]
