First Tale: Not in Storybrooke, Maine anymore [Action/ AccidentVideo]

[Henry has found himself waking up on a very cold day in Luceti on the outskirts of the village. It takes him a bit to gather his bearings and to find his winter coat nearby him. Putting it on he sits there for a moment to look around. Yup, this wasn't home. Did he get here by magic? And if so, was this the Enchanted Forest?

Looking nearby he see's a journal with his name on it. Very strange. Why would a journal that he never had have his name? Someone must have brought him here.

Opening it up he begins flipping through the pages. It was looking to be some kind of guide. Maybe it had a map?

When it proves to becoming difficult to try and find a map in this journal, he begins to wander into the village, tightly holding his jacket closed. He doesn't want to even think what bad guy put him in a raggy pair of pants. But he starts to call out for anyone around.]

Hello? Anyone here? Gram-pa are you here?

[A little kid wandering around looking lost? Welcome to New Feather season.

Rogue paused on the way out of the Item Shop.]

Hey. Ya all right?

[Henry looks up to the girl curiously. Well, she's not in his book. Considering he's only wearing a winter jacket and those new feather pants, all right isn't the words he'd use.]

Can you tell me where I am? This can't be Storybrooke.

Nah. It sure ain't Storybrooke. [She gives him a small smile.] What's your name, sugah?

Are we anywhere close to Maine than?

[Or was this a whole different Land?]

It's Henry. [But he pauses as he takes a close look at Rogue.]

You look kind of familiar. What's your name?

We're... a long way away from Maine. But with as cold as it is right now, I'm seein' how you could get confused. My name's Rogue. An' where ya are is... kind of a long story.

[She inclined her head towards the Clothing Shop.]

C'mon. Let's get ya out of the cold. I'll [hopefully come across someone better at explaining things to little kids than me] tell you what I can on the way.

[Well, he's guessing his Gramps may not be here. But he perks up a bit when he hears her name. Now he recognizes her.]

Rogue? You mean from the X-men?

[Oh right, warmth first.]

All right. That would help. But, can you tell me one thing. Is this the Enchanted Forest?

[Already making theories.]

...yeah, kid. I mean from the X-Men.

[She casts a glance at his bare feet.]

An' no. This place is called "Luceti." There's not much enchanted about it.

[Well that earns her a giant grin.]

I guess if fairy tales can be real than comic characters can too.

[Because that's a thing in his world. But, not the point. He becomes slightly disheartened hearing that.]

So you wouldn't know anyone named Emma Swann or Mary Margret Blanchard here?

[...ah-ha. Well. Yup.]

Ah - yeah. Though I can't say I'm exactly sure I'm that Rogue. Seems like there are a few of 'em.

[Child, you're freezing, you can talk and walk, right? Rogue chooses to test this theory and starts walking.]

Sorry... those names don't ring a bell.

I wouldn't think so, either. But probably similar. Like the fairy tales from my world and the people in the Enchanted Forest.

[But he'll start following along. When she says the names don't sound familiar, he sighs a little. Worth a shot.]

Oh...okay.

They're your people from back home, huh?

If you mean Emma and Mary Margret, they're my family.

But the people from the Enchanted Forest?

You really up to listening to it? If so we might want to get something to eat.

[And not because Henry's really hungry right now. Nope not at all.]

[Honestly, Rogue would rather just pass him off to someone who was good with children and compassion and explaining things. Just about anyone who wasn't her. But she couldn't very well ditch the kid either.]

Shoes first. Then we'll see 'bout getting you somethin' to drink.

All right. Sure.

[And Henry will just follow her still because he still doesn't know how to navigate the place.]

[Walking, walking...]

So about how old are ya, Henry?

[Most awkward walk ever. Henry's getting the feeling Rogue may want to be somewhere else.]

I'm ten...umm...if you need to go somewhere I'll be fine. I can probably find my way to the store on my own.

[Ten. Geeze.]

Sure. But then who'd get ya to the next one? [She gives him a little smile.] We're almost there.

I guess that's true.

[And when they arrive at the store, Henry's looking around for his stuff.]

This kind of reminds me of Mr.Gold's place...

He runs a clothing shop?

No, not really. He has a store with everyone's things from back before the curse. So, it's kind of like if here where these stores have our stuff from back before we're brought here.

...I see. I think.

[What curse?]

You don't really understand do you?

Well, if my book is here in Luceti too, I can show you sometime.

Sometime after we get you fed? Sure.
