Do you guys think magic changes depending on what world you're in? The rules I mean. Where I'm from magic always comes with a price, but, is it possible that in other places that it doesn't? Like just believing in something and you can do it?

theboywiththebook: (um)
[Locked to Richard]

[There's a tiny groan as Henry begins to wake from a nap he didn't remember taking. The eleven year old began to gather his bearings slowly. What had happened? He was just about to go to sleep when he felt he'd been thrown somewhere else again. When his eyes flicker open he's in darkness and from what he could tell he was in a closet. He could feel a dull sting on his back and as he went to massage it, his fingers touched feathers.

His eyes widen in surprise, before he goes to yank on them in curiosity. With the yank, he lets out a cringe of pain before there's a small gasp as the fog began to clear from his brain.

He was back in Luceti. How long had he been gone? What had happened to his friends here? Were they all safe? All these questions surging through his head, but, first he needed to get out of this closet to find those answers.

Moving about in the dark, Henry looked for the handle of the door on the inside. When he found it, he popped the door open, slowly peeking out into the room. It was someone's bedroom, but he wasn't exactly sure whose it was. There was the possibility that he could've been dropped off in an abandoned house, but he had a feeling that wasn't the case. It looked like someone was living in it.

So, Henry comes out and looks around for a moment before he decides to call out:]

Hello? Is anybody here? It's Henry! If you know me at least!

[Much later, Henry decides he should make his presence known to the village. Seeing was believing after all, and so he turns on the feed.

He looks slightly older,  but still the same boy that left only a couple of months ago.

There's an awkward silence as he tries to figure out what to say. When nothing really comes to mind he just decides the obvious is probably the best.]

Hi everyone, it's Henry. I'm back again. I still haven't found a way to help people go home yet.  But, I've got a few ideas at least.

(ooc: for people who haven't caught up on Once Upon a Time there will be possible spoilers for season 3 up until episode 9 in here. I'll avoid them though if you tell me to.)
theboywiththebook: (be chillin in mah castle)

Action

[A little over two months he's been dealing with this. The inability to read anything. While he's held onto the hope that he knew he'd get to read soon, he just had to see if he could do it on his own again. Maybe by some stroke of luck or miracle he could finally read the pages of his book.

But, instead of staying at home and reading, where Steve and Bucky are, he's in the village square. If Bucky and Steve saw him looking so upset while he read they'd only feel worse. They were there when he died and they blamed themselves for it. He doesn't need to give them that kind of stress or depression. They've dealt with that stuff enough.

Sitting by the fountain he stares down at his story book with a very focused look. He can do his. Henry can read it. But, he sits there for hours by the fountain continuing to look at the one page he's stuck on. No matter how hard he tries none of these words are recognizable. They may as well be chicken scratch.

It gets to the point where Henry can't stand it any longer. Slamming his book shut, he hurls it as hard as he can.

Does it hit someone passing by or land at their feet? Either way Henry folds his arms and just kicks the ground in front of where he's sitting.

Later, when night starts to come, Henry's sitting by the lake. It reminded him of Storybrooke, Maine. They were always close to the water and when he had his castle he would always retreat to it whenever he was feeling like this. Angry, upset, all of it. Watching the waves helped leech all those bad feelings away, and watching this lake had a similar effect.

He loses track of time, 8 PM, 9 PM, 10 PM. The hours tick on by as he just sits there. But, it gets to the point where he realizes it's probably time to get back.

He now wanders back to the apartment in silence.]

theboywiththebook: (um)
[Sunlight breaks in through the glass, shining down on the pale boy that lay in the bed of the clinic. The light awakens him as he blinks into it. Groaning he rises slowly bringing a hand to his face. Where was he? Wasn't he on the draft? Everything was so foggy he couldn't remember what happened after he had hit that cultist in the shoulder that was going to hurt Steve. Looking around at his surroundings he didn't remember going to bed. Had he really blacked out the moment he saved Steve? Did the cultist knock him out? More importantly where was he?

When he looks out a nearby window he can tell this was not the Terrace. He was back in Luceti but when did he get back? It was March 28th when the draft happened, so was it over? Was he in a coma until it ended? He needed answers and quick. The only thing Henry assumed was that Steve brought him here to recover, because it looked like a hospital.

He rises from the bed that he was lying on, knocking his journal open in the process and turning on the voice.

Looking to his book Henry needs to find out what had happened during the draft through his apparent coma. When he see's the voice function has already turned itself on, he'll begin talking.]

It's Henry. Can anyone tell me what happened at that Terrace place? Did we win? And what day is it?

[After that, Henry leaves the clinic to go to the clothes store because apparently he's wearing those pants the Malnosso give you after they kidnap you. Great, he got experimented on when he was unconscious. These guys really were evil. But, he remembered himself and had all his memories. They didn't change him in any sort of way. So what did they do?

When he's done his clothes shopping he's going back to his apartment.]

(ooc: Henry's death Penalty will be not being able to read. So written responses will be met with some annoyance thinking either the other person is messing with him or him assuming that the Malnosso decided to experiment with him. Also due to the quickness of his death his mind will have blocked it out for the time being, because trauma can do that.)

theboywiththebook: (sadness)
[Locked to; Natasha, Steve, Bucky, Pepper, Layton, Loki, Richard, and Katniss.]
(Spoilery stuff for Season 1 finale and early into season 2) )

Action

[After his entry, Henry has left his apartment to go to the battledome. He's carrying the bow Katniss gave him and the sword he got for Christmas. Might as well keep up with practice. Plus, it would help get his mind off of everything he had been thinking about. Sure, he told his story to those he knew but he still wasn't feeling any better about it. He can be caught on the way there only looking a slightly bit less upset.

If not, he's arrived at the dome and is already setting up a simulation to shoot targets with arrows. Katniss had showed him proper treatment of a bow, but he's a bit over eager so he's going to try and shoot one on his own. Naturally he's not doing very well as either he's not pulling back enough and the arrow doesn't go far, or his aim is off and the shot goes wide.

After that gets tiring he's setting up another scenario that Loki showed him to use his sword. This was probably easier since he had been improving already with the help of so many teachers.

At the end of the day, he's gone to Seventh Heaven for supper. He's still only ten, ten year olds can't really cook for themselves. Getting his table and already getting his food, even while he may be hungry he doesn't have much of an appetite at the moment. He just leisurely plays with his food, moving his fork around his plate as he stares down at it. His thoughts were preoccupied now on his experiment.

He had been made to be older and while he did make some new friends while at that age, it still didn't feel right. It was like getting a taste of the dark curse except not exactly quite there. He still remembered who he was...just with new memories inserted. A life that he hadn't lived yet. But, having remembered that he had been made to grow up and made to think certain things...it's a scary thought that he might actually be stuck in Luceti for that long. That fear had been instilled in him by the others here that some people had been here for at least two to three years, and while they had the comfort of having friends and family, he didn't. He was alone. No grandparents and no Emma. He didn't want to grow up without them. He didn't want to have to learn what it'd be like not having a family here.]

Accidental Video

[So, after the whole Pancake Tuesday thing, Henry had gone home sometime around late in the evening.

He's only home for an hour when there seems to be a lot of noise coming from his apartment. His journal has fallen open in the commotion and has turned on the video setting. The apartment looks like a complete mess, the is table over turned, dishes have been smashed all over the floor, books scattered about. Henry comes into view of the camera with a droid soon following behind him. He knocks over a book shelf onto a droid coming towards him. When he does Henry runs towards the door. But, he's not expecting another one to come out from in the hall way and snatch him up. He's struggling all he can but as the droid leaves the sight of the journal there are no more sounds coming from Henry. The feed shuts off.]

Action/video (Wednesday)

[It's been about 24 hours after Henry's disappearance. After that time, someone's wandering into the village. No one that has been apparently seen before. He's rubbing his arms as he's heading towards the clothes store just to get a jacket or something warm.

When he does finally find something warm, he goes on his journal. The boy who does come on the journal looks to be about sixteen or so.]

You'd think the Malnosso would give you a jacket or something in weather like this. Guess they're really nothing to play at. Anyways, I'm fine now. They didn't seem to do anything to me this time.

(ooc: Henry's mally napped effect is being aged 6 years to be sixteen and given memories that he's been here for five years already. He will know all his Cr as if he knew them five years ago. Anyone pointing out he's older, he might think they've been shifted to forget his age. Anyone who in his fake memories should appear to be older example, Ikki should look 12 not seven, he might think she's been put under an experiment. All comments on Wednesday will be from [personal profile] becameheroic  . There will be a subthread for anyone who wants to react to his kidnapping.)

theboywiththebook: (be chillin in mah castle)

[Henry Mills is currently walking about the village. Sometimes he can be spotted building another snow man or reading on a bench somewhere. He'll make his last stop at Seventh Heaven for a hot chocolate though. He does look rather confused since it seems there's a lot of new people popping around.

Sora will be doing what Sora does. Probably sleeping somewhere. He can be found anywhere around, outside, on a roof, in a building. He's just napping. Who cares where it is right? Someone want to wake up this lazy bum?

Cross is kind of in his own little world right now. He's just drawing in the snow in the middle of the village. They look like blueprints for something. But, what? After he gets bored of that he can be seen hanging upside down again in a tree. This is becoming a thing apparently.]

theboywiththebook: (be chillin in mah castle)
[Christmas morning! Oh boy oh boy! Henry woke up at the crack of done to run from his bed to his Christmas tree. He was hoping to see Emma, Mary Margret and David right there at the tree, arms opened in a hug for him. But what he comes to is an empty room.

At first his face just starts to fall into this.

Santa...didn't bring them like Henry had asked. Sure, he did ask Santa to get them home but...he was hoping just to see them. But even though this sadness is just welling up, he has to remember; maybe Santa got them home. It didn't seem to matter though. He's alone for Christmas; the one thing he hoped wouldn't happen.

As he raises his head however and soon see's something wrapped under his tree. Curiously, he steps forward and sits down in front of it. Picking it up, it seems particularly light. It's long and thin. If he stood it up it'd probably go up close to his chest. Peeling away the paper, his eyes grow big in amazement when he gets a peek of it. Soon it's a frenzy and he rips it right off. It's a sword. He got a sword for Christmas! It seems pretty unique. It looks like something that a prince or a royal would have. The blade is curiously thin, not something his grandpa would use. It actually looks something akin to a rapier.

Awesome. He spends the rest of the morning swinging it around in his apartment, not too much though. It's still a weapon and he does have a party to go to later.

After attending that Christmas party, Henry's going to the batltedome to actually try this weapon out. Problem is, he's still not great at using one just yet. So he turns on the journal and peers into it.]

Hey does anyone know how to use a sword?

[People can run into Henry on his way to the party, on his way to the battledome, at the battledome or going back home.]

theboywiththebook: (preoccupied)
Written

[Henry's been getting progressively sadder as the holiday draws nearer. It is only a week before Christmas and he's here all alone without Emma, Mary Margret, David and even Regina. He'd spent all his Christmas's with Regina and while he did get many good things it didn't replace the fact that he was a bit miserable living with her and with how she acted. She did say she was trying to get better but that remained to be seen. But he couldn't see it now...so one could see why he's just a little bit more than depressed.

Still...he shouldn't be sad about being alone for Christmas. He's still worried about Emma and Mary Margret. They're in the Enchanted Forest or they could be dead in an airless void. He didn't know and not knowing was the worst. But the sadder thing? David would be alone for Christmas. No Snow to be with him, not his daughter, not even Henry, David's grandson. But....Christmas was the time where hope and miracles happened a lot right? So maybe, just maybe he could get that little miracle.

So he's opened up the journal and he's writing a letter...to Santa. Because if this journal is magical, surely Santa will recieve it?

Too bad he's neglected the fact that others will see it.
]

Letter to Santa )

Action

[After Henry finishes his letter, he's walking around the village. He's better rested nowadays since the nightmares have finally stopped. He can be at least happy about that. But it's still not enough to make him any less miserable.

His first stop is at the general store where he's looking for Christmas decorations and maybe a small fake tree to take back to his apartment. This is the first year that he's actually doing it by himself and maybe it'll be fun. Because the house was never really all that festive. Whenever he had a tree, his mom would decorate it.

After that he's gone out to Seventh Heaven, to eat. He'll be ordering a lot, probably a hot dog, a pie, and two chocolate chip cookies. He's a growing boy after all.

When he's done that he's walking by the lake, if only because it reminds him of the place where his old castle was. Maybe he could make it here in Luceti.]

theboywiththebook: (pic#5100429)
[Henry has found himself waking up on a very cold day in Luceti on the outskirts of the village. It takes him a bit to gather his bearings and to find his winter coat nearby him. Putting it on he sits there for a moment to look around. Yup, this wasn't home. Did he get here by magic? And if so, was this the Enchanted Forest?

Looking nearby he see's a journal with his name on it. Very strange. Why would a journal that he never had have his name? Someone must have brought him here.

Opening it up he begins flipping through the pages. It was looking to be some kind of guide. Maybe it had a map?

When it proves to becoming difficult to try and find a map in this journal, he begins to wander into the village, tightly holding his  jacket closed. He doesn't want to even think what bad guy put him in a raggy pair of pants. But he starts to call out for anyone around.]

Hello? Anyone here? Gram-pa are you here?

Flirting with this character: He's 10, so no.

None really.

Other permissions

Henry back in his old town had a book that told him all about fairy tales, thing is, all the stories in the book actually happened. So, Henry will have general knowledge on fairy tale like characters here in Forever After. Note: His book is an alternate history but he'll know things from other fairy tales that usually pop up. So for example; He knows Snow White eats an apple and falls under a cursed sleep and only true love's kiss can break it.

So what I wanted to ask is if it would be cool if Henry sort of knew who your character was. Of course, he'll know your person isn't the person from his book, but he does know of alternate worlds because of the Enchanted Forest so I'm assuming he'd guess that there's probably more fairy tale worlds that are different but similar.

Anyways,

Are you okay with Henry pointing out what fairy tale they're from?:

Character’s Full Name: Henry Mills

Fandom:  Once Upon A Time

Are they from (an anime, book, manga, video game, etc.): Live Action TV Drama adventure fantasy thing

Age of Character: 10

Point in Canon: Season 1 finale, when Magic is coming to Storybrooke.

۞ History: History

۞ Personality:

Henry is very bold and is always willing to break or bend the rules when he feels it is necessary. Examples of this would be when he ventured out of Storybrooke on his own to find his birth mother and stole his teacher’s credit card to fund said expedition to see his birth mother.  This all stems from Henry having lived with Regina, his adoptive mother, who he never felt really loved him. But also because Henry wishes to change the situation he is in. Having lived with Regina, someone he felt always emotionally neglected him; he wanted a better life for himself and went as far to find his birth mother to begin that change. In a sense breaking the curse on his town is also shows the significance of what he wants changed. Since Storybrook was the place where no happy endings could happen because of the curse Henry wishes to break that curse so the happy endings may come back; in doing so this would allow him to have the change he wants to his life.

Henry also has a firm belief in what good and evil is. This due to the influence of the story book Mary Margret gave to him. With these firm beliefs he sees Regina as evil being capable of anything. This would be due to the fact of his complicated relationship with Regina and the storybook showing Regina what she had down in the fairy tale world.  In this belief he also has an extremely caring nature towards others as he wishes for the curse upon Storybrooke to be broken from the queen’s evil curse.  At times when it was essential Henry has told Emma that no one could leave the town in fear that something terrible could happen like with Ashley, Ava and Nicholas.

Henry has a strong belief in magic and the power of happy endings. Since he is a child this allows for these views to stay with him but is grounded into him because of the storybook. He is very outspoken about his views and his opinions. When his mother continually tells him that there is no curse, Henry continually stays strong in his belief and tells her otherwise. Even with Emma who is a hardcore realist Henry doesn't falter on his belief of fairytales being real. This however usually earns him a bit of criticism as most people tell him that he’s just making it up. Usually when this happens Henry becomes very defensive in his stance about the town being cursed trying to convince those who don’t believe him. This makes him very sensitive to being called crazy as he knows he is not. However if he is pushed far enough Henry will go out and try and find proof for his story. This has led to him going into an abandoned mine when his therapist had outright called him delusional.

Henry is very idealistic as he believes that Emma (someone who does not believe in Fairy Tales or happy endings) will be the one to save Storybrooke. With this belief in Emma who doesn't believe in magic makes him very optimistic as he has yet to stop believing in her. He has a strong faith in her and those who are willing to help break the curse.  Even if people do not believe in him, he is willing to believe in those he loves and trusts no matter what. This even leads him to being a very brave boy for his age. Since he believed so strongly in Emma, he was willing to eat a cursed apple turnover Regina had given to Emma believing Emma would save him.  His naivete gets the better of him though. Since he is so young he fails to grasp sometimes the seriousness of the curse until something bad happens. Like with Graham he had not realized how dangerous with trying to break the curse was until it was too late.

Henry is also very persistent in what he does. He will not give up on what he believes in no matter what, even if people tell him he’s wrong or crazy. However like any little boy he can become discouraged wondering if what he is doing will actually help anyone. When Graham had died Henry was unsure if that he should even continue trying to break the curse. But because of his faith in Emma he can continue to preserver no matter how hopeless a situation may be.

۞ Magical Powers, Skills, and Weapons:  He's a regular little boy. No magic whatsoever sadly.
۞ Other Abilities: Henry's described as being a very bright kid. He can ride a bike too. He's also been known to be quite sneaky, able to hide in Emma's car without her realizing it and being able to get out of the house without Regina knowing. Other than that he has no discernible abilities.

۞ Journal Sample:
So, everyone's cursed?

[Henry had asked the old man that welcomed him to this city and got his answer. Yup, everyone's cursed all right. Even him. He's not exactly happy about that. Sure, he's not going to get any older anytime soon and he can't have kids (but the latter really doesn't have any affect on him.) The fact of the matter is everybody who wanted to have kids could not longer have them.

So, Henry's going to the magic guild. Maybe, just maybe if he learned some magic there he could find a way to break the curse. Without his book he didn't have any references on curses like this. So, he would just have to learn about them to find a way to break these. Maybe it'll be as easy as true love's kiss. But, he'd like to avoid eating the poisoned turnover.

[Well he's not bothering with it now, he'll just shove it in his bag. He just wanted to go the magic guild to see if he could learn magic. He did hear a lot of rumors about learning magic there after all. ]

۞ Third Person Sample:

He had looked everywhere for it. Under his bed, in his drawer, even out the window. He just couldn't find his book. Ever since coming to this fairy tale land he thought that his book would be a great help in a world like this. But, nope, no such luck. He didn't have it and that was a little bit upsetting. He lost it once and Emma found it later. But, Emma wasn't here though so he probably would never find it now. That book was a big part of his life and not having it was like missing a small piece of himself. He knew he could write down the stories, so, it wouldn't be too much of a trouble to put them down on paper again.

But, the more he thought about it he began to realize that it wasn't just the book he was missing. It was Emma. She wasn't here to see this new world with him and even though he was grateful for being saved from the evil Queen of this world, he and Emma had a lot to do back at home. They broke the curse and woke everyone up, bu,t they had to deal with that creepy purple fog that descended over the town. Whatever it was it wasn't a good thing. For now, however, he could take his time here and find out what had happened back in his world. Thinking about that cheered him up just a bit. Besides, this place had magic, so, he could always go home later.

This could even be like a story in his book. Being valiant heroes, saving people, and, doing good. So, leaving his room, Henry ventured out into the city streets. A bright was smile on his face as he explored the place. He’d have to be careful though, because some of the adults were beginning to try and get him to stop exploring so much. After all, it could get him into trouble. But Henry would never just sit still. He needed to take an active role in things. He had to make sure to find all the clues he needed to help beat the bad guys. But, in this case it was just to have an exciting adventure.

Which is your favorite rule?:  Having fun is a nice one.

Do you have any questions?: Um the only one I have is if this game will be open to OCs ever. Because it's nice to at least have the option too right?

Even with Emma who is a hardcore realist, Henry doesn't falter on his belief of fairy tales being real.

But, because of his faith in Emma he can continue to preserver no matter how hopeless a situation may be.

Even though he's a child, he's very protective of the people of his town and the people he cares about. When Regina had regained her magic and would possibly hurt everyone in town hall, Henry said he would go with her just so she wouldn't hurt anyone. It even led him as far as to eating a cursed apple turnover to save Emma from becoming cursed.

Henry has shown to have a remarkable capable of love. Despite how his adopted mother treated him, Henry has shown to care for her. He showed concern on multiple occasions for her safety when she was kidnapped and was willing to sacrifice herself to save the town if only to make sure Henry wasn't alone. For anyone he loves he's willing to put his own life at risk to save them all, like the time he ate a poisoned apple turnover to stop Emma from being poisoned. He's just a boy who felt unloved at certain points in his life has so much love to give to others.

Henry hates being lied to. Whenever he finds out someone's lied to him he completely shuts them out and gives them the cold shoulder. He values honesty more than anything and has said himself he could handle the truth. It's only that when he finds out the truth after being told a lie he's arguably upset. When he found out about his father being alive after being told he was dead, Henry just shut Emma out completely. Even more instances of this are in season 1 towards Regina as he's constantly shrugging her off because of the lies she had told him about the curse.

Henry has always shown to give people more than their fair share of chances and forgiveness. Even knowing Regina had done so much evil, he never let go of the fact that she could still be a good person. He knew she had the capability of being a hero, but, she needed a chance first. This doesn't mean he's willing to put up with someone's evil deeds. Again with Regina, he wouldn't live with her until she showed him she could really change. When the person in question does show that change he's willing to let them back into his life.

Strengths:

Physical
Henry is known to be very sneaky as he's capable of sneaking out of the house without alerting his mother. Other than he just seems like a normal healthy kid. He's been seen sword fighting with his grandpa and seems to be capable at least wielding a sword, even if it's wood. But, it's shown that he's improved having fought a Lost Boy (who's had a lot longer in Neverland to learn how to fight) and won against them.

In canon it's been established that Henry has a special kind of magic himself. Peter Pan had said that he has the Heart of The Truest Believer. That being said, Henry's own kind of magic could be described as being able to do anything he imagines. He managed to turn a stick into a sword just by believing he was holding a sword. Of course, in game this would be down played completely. Only being able to create objects or possibly doing the standard OUAT magic as it were.

Henry's heart is also protected from being stolen from him. With Regina's enchantment put over him his heart can now no longer be taken.

Mental

Henry has been said to be very bright by his teacher, and it shows. He's very perceptive on people's own lies and stories. When August had said he was in Storybrooke for creative inspiration, Henry instantly said he could write anywhere, so there must be more to why he was there.

He's been shown to be smart enough to make a rope out of bed sheets when he tried to escape Regina's home.

Credit Cards/Money - Henry has shown to be able to use a credit card, having used one to purchase the information on finding Emma. It can go as far as him knowing how money actually works and how to use it.

Science - Henry has been shown in science class. But, going from head canon, I would say he's fairly good in the class. He probably gets about an A.

Geography - In Henry's Untold story letter, it's been said they've learned tricks for the state capitals. Henry has done it so much however that he doesn't even need the tricks anymore to know the capitals.

Computers - Henry has been shown to be smart enough with computers, to helping Ruby try to find a job on one, to finding Emma in Boston, and knowing to wipe his search history.

Fairy Tales - Henry has a knowledge on a variety of fairy tales, both from his book and the ones everyone knows. He especially can make the connections between the town's people and what their fairy tale selves are.

Emotional

Henry is a very kind and caring boy because since the very beginning of the series he wants nothing more than to break the curse so everyone can have their happiness back. He's willing to go to any lengths to help the people of his town or the people he loves, like hiding in cars to make sure the people don't go outside town, to eating a cursed apple that almost killed him.

He's also brave. When Emma had received a poisoned apple turnover that would inflict the curse of sleeping death, Henry instantly took it and ate it to save Emma. He explores abandoned mines in order to find proof of the curse even when he could potentially be hurt.

He also has a firm belief in that his town is cursed and believes the curse will be broken by Emma. His hope is what sustains him in the town that time forgot as he wants the queen's evil curse ended. He believes in those he loves, especially Emma, even telling her that even if she didn't believe in him or the curse, he believed in her. His love and belief gives him the strength to keep believing in the power of happy endings.

Being a child, he has no doubts that good will always win over evil. Even if evil gets a few victories he knows good will win out, no matter what.

Even at times when he's sad, like losing his book, he never seems to give up on breaking the curse or helping people. His determination drives him, as he was willing to try and write out all the stories he remembered from his book by hand so he could reference back to them.

He also seems to have a degree of understanding people's motivations. Like with Emma, he knew why she gave him away as she had wanted to give him his best chance.

For a ten year old boy, he has come to be protective of others, including the people in his town. He's willing to give himself up to Regina in order to keep her from hurting anyone else.

Weaknesses:

Physical
He's an eleven year old, human, boy. He's got every physical weakness imaginable that comes with being a kid.

Mental

He's ten years old and hasn't lived very long. He doesn't know how complicated the world really is as he still only see's things in black and white.

Memory - Henry has said that when he lost his book that he he needed to write down all the stories from his book before he forgot the details. While it's been said he has read his storybook a lot it can be said that he hasn't memorized the details of every story. So like any person he is capable of forgetting details in a story.

Math - In Henry's untold story letter, it says he talked to Emma (when she wasn't in his life yet) about doing long division. While it doesn't go into detail, it can be assume he's probably not good since he might be talking to Emma about how he's supposed to do it.

Writing - Henry's been shown at Grammy's trying to rewrite his storybook on pieces of paper. His writing has been shown to be a bit sloppy and has spelling mistakes. Common for any ten year old kid.

English - With writing it can also be assumed that English is not one of his stronger subjects. He probably doesn't know how to use grammar to its full extent.

Vocabulary - Henry doesn't know very many complicated words. He may have heard of them, but, he doesn't know the meaning of some words. This is shown when Dr.Hopper asks him what the word 'delusion' means and Henry replying with a confused expression and thinking he may know.

Still only being a child Henry doesn't understand a lot of the complex thinking adults have. This would be evident when Emma told him she would be leaving Storybrooke. Henry had thought this was because she was afraid to break the curse when in reality, Emma was leaving to keep him from getting hurt.

Emotional

Henry is very sensitive to being called crazy. When he does he often objects to it and does something brash to prove that he's right, going as far as going into an abandoned mine that could collapse at any time. He will also end up crying because of it.

He's also only ten, so he can be a bit naive when it comes to a lot of things in the world. He's firmly against the good guys killing people because good guys don't do that, but doesn't quite understand that the good guys usually will kill bad people to stop their evil.

He also lies, even to the people he loves, even if it isn't out right. It's not out of malice but wanting to try and help as much as he can even if he has to break the rules. But, it ends up putting himself in danger more often than not.

His belief in the curse has been known to falter however. When he overheard Emma calling it crazy he mistook it as her calling him crazy and was on the verge of just not believing in it at all.

He's been known to get depressed over losing his book, giving up on the belief that he would ever find it again.

Henry's want to be a hero can also cloud his own judgement. Thinking if he saved magic he could save Neverland and everyone in it making him a hero. Of course, this was a clever lie that Henry hadn't seen through until it was too late.

Samples (ALL samples must be set in Luceti-verse.)

First Person: Q and A Please

Third Person: Henry had been back for about a few weeks now. While being kidnapped for possibly the fourth time in his short life was distressing, he at least knew this was a lot better than Neverland. The only thing he was glad to know was that his family was safe and they were all finally going home. Now he needed to find his own way home again in Luceti. He was sitting in the kitchen, mulling over a cup of hot chocolate with cinnamon, devising more ideas of how to get home.

Magic beans were off the table currently since none were here in Luceti. Magical wells and trees also were a no go. And he didn't even want to take a chance at possibly trying to contact that shadow. Sighing in frustration he looked to the window, staring out it with uncertainty. His thoughts went back to Neverland, where Pan had told him of his special heart. The heart of the truest believer that could save magic, but really was only meant to save Pan. Still, with a title like that his heart had to be special. If that was the case could he use that magic to help the people here?

His gaze turned back to his mug as he began to think it over. Perhaps that would also be a way home. Maybe he could get some to teach him how to use the magic of his heart. If all he had to do was believe in something maybe he could help make a portal home for everyone. A smile crossed his face as new hope and optimism filled him. Whether or not his own power could get everyone home or not that was to be seen. But, either way he wanted to try. All Henry wanted was to help the people he loved here in Luceti to return home.

With this feeling filling him up he knew for sure they'd find a way home. All of them.
