Accidental Video

[So, after the whole Pancake Tuesday thing, Henry had gone home sometime around late in the evening.

He's only home for an hour when there seems to be a lot of noise coming from his apartment. His journal has fallen open in the commotion and has turned on the video setting. The apartment looks like a complete mess, the is table over turned, dishes have been smashed all over the floor, books scattered about. Henry comes into view of the camera with a droid soon following behind him. He knocks over a book shelf onto a droid coming towards him. When he does Henry runs towards the door. But, he's not expecting another one to come out from in the hall way and snatch him up. He's struggling all he can but as the droid leaves the sight of the journal there are no more sounds coming from Henry. The feed shuts off.]

Action/video (Wednesday)

[It's been about 24 hours after Henry's disappearance. After that time, someone's wandering into the village. No one that has been apparently seen before. He's rubbing his arms as he's heading towards the clothes store just to get a jacket or something warm.

When he does finally find something warm, he goes on his journal. The boy who does come on the journal looks to be about sixteen or so.]

You'd think the Malnosso would give you a jacket or something in weather like this. Guess they're really nothing to play at. Anyways, I'm fine now. They didn't seem to do anything to me this time.

(ooc: Henry's mally napped effect is being aged 6 years to be sixteen and given memories that he's been here for five years already. He will know all his Cr as if he knew them five years ago. Anyone pointing out he's older, he might think they've been shifted to forget his age. Anyone who in his fake memories should appear to be older example, Ikki should look 12 not seven, he might think she's been put under an experiment. All comments on Wednesday will be from becameheroic  . There will be a subthread for anyone who wants to react to his kidnapping.)

[La la la, Layton's just strolling on home after a solid library session. But he spies the underdressed young man coming out of the woods and wonders if he could be a New Feather... Well, it won't hurt to make sure.]

[Loki is aware that Henry was taken by the Malnosso. Since there's nothing he can do about it, it's more a bump in his attention and another slight bit of frustration. He has other things to work on.

The next day, he heads to the stables to look after his own horse as normal. He intends to look after Henry's as well. It's not the little beast's fault its owner was taken.]

[Having actually found some clothes, Henry is off to the stables to go find Graham.

When he arrives, he see's Loki actually heading there too.]

[This earns Henry a long, assessing stare but... oh, will you look at that. Ward is still in place, which tells Loki all he needs to know.]

Do they usually last longer? This is the first time it happened to me in six years.

[Steve has been worried for Henry ever since he saw the video of him being take away. It's always a scary thing when someone gets taken because he never knows what's doing to done to them or if they will even return at all.

So to take his mind off of worrying for a while, he heads to the fountain late in the morning to do some sketches and observe the people that go by.]

[Don't worry, Steve. He's mostly unharmed.

Older Henry is now wearing some warmer clothes thankfully and is heading back to his apartment, when. Oh hey, it's Steve!]

Morning, Steve! What are you doing?

[He glances up from his sketchbook, his brow furrowing. Usually he's pretty good at remembering faces but this one is unfamiliar. Mostly. There's something about this boy that strangely enough does seem familiar. He just can't place it.]

Oh yeah, I heard you liked to draw.

[He's going to take a seat down beside him and look at it before he looks back to Steve.]

By the way, how badly is my apartment wrecked?

[She'd caught the very end of Henry's struggle over the journals and by then it had been too late to do anything, although she'd hurried across the village with Clint at her side to check his rooms just in case. They were empty, with no sign of Henry anywhere and it was an irritated Natasha who retreated back to her rooms for the night.

She's out late the next day, however, fed up with being cooped up inside and full of a restless energy. She's mostly healed up from the mission, little evidence of it remaining except for a still-healing gash on her brow that she's keeping hidden beneath her hair as well as she can.

She stops in at Seventh Heaven to grab some dinner, just wanting to be out and look at something that wasn't her four walls for an evening. She finds a table and orders some food and settles down to watch the restaurant's other occupants while she waits, taking her entertainment in observing the village's other residents for a while.]

[Henry's coming in again for dinner tonight. He'd been learning how to cook (in, you know, his fake memories) but it was much better to have someone make your food instead.

When he goes to take a seat, he spots a familiar head of red hair. Walking over he takes a seat across from her.]

[Natasha goes still when the boy sinks down across from her and uses her name so familiarly. That instantly puts her on alert and her green gaze takes him in carefully, something telling in her careful stillness. There is something familiar about him, something that she feels she should no, but she can't put her finger on what.]

[What as with everyone today not knowing who he was? Was it a shift on this place or something?]

It's me. Henry. We talked a couple of days ago. Told you how awesome it was that you were beating up the bad guys.

[She doesn't recognize the boy as she walks through the village, bow and quill slung over her shoulder, rabbit carcass hanging from her hand. Brown pants are mud stained and her face is ruddy from all the exercise in the cold. Despite that, she's feeling content today. The hunt went well. And she had even succeeded in finding wild leeks to cook with the rabbit, leeks that bang against her hip whenever she walks, mixed in with the skinning and other tools in her small over-the-shoulder bag.

No, it hasn't been much of a bad day at all. She has yet to go through the journal. And yet to notice Henry's disappearance.]

[Well, hey there Katniss. This teen is going to start heading over to her when he see's her coming back from her hunt.]

Hey, Katniss, what'd you catch?

[She hear's the voice, sees the boy approaching. But her grey eyes instantly narrow. Brows furrow. There's no recognition on her face, no sign that she knows this boy at all. Suspicion comes naturally to her. As does the desire to shoot first, ask questions later. Her bow is slipped off her shoulder and she reaches for an arrow in one smooth action. Though she doesn't string the arrow (a bright pink and purple one painted by Rapunzel), she's ready to at the slightest sign of danger.]

[Wait, what? This wasn't the Katniss he knew. She was a lot kinder and...she wouldn't shoot people on the spot would she? But hearing that question he frowns. Her too?]
It's me. Henry. The kid you've been teaching how to use a bow for 6 years.

[There's a familiar face heading to work at Seventh Heaven that afternoon, one that Henry will undoubtedly recognize even if Richard doesn't recognize him in return.

[Seeing Richard walk in, Henry waves over at him and walks over to the head of blond.]

Hi, Richard. How are you?

[Richard turns his head at the sound of his name, looking around for the source of the unfamiliar voice that seems to know him. When he spots Henry, he blinks.]
