Fifth Tale: Fourth Wall Event!

[Henry Mills is currently walking about the village. Sometimes he can be spotted building another snow man or reading on a bench somewhere. He'll make his last stop at Seventh Heaven for a hot chocolate though. He does look rather confused since it seems there's a lot of new people popping around.

Sora will be doing what Sora does. Probably sleeping somewhere. He can be found anywhere around, outside, on a roof, in a building. He's just napping. Who cares where it is right? Someone want to wake up this lazy bum?

Cross is kind of in his own little world right now. He's just drawing in the snow in the middle of the village. They look like blueprints for something. But, what? After he gets bored of that he can be seen hanging upside down again in a tree. This is becoming a thing apparently.]

Now now, don't be shy. I'm sure you know more than you're letting on and we have all the time in the world!

[A wave of the hand, a poof of purple smoke and suddenly Rumplestiltskin has made two chairs appear out of thin air. Dark wood with comfy red cushions, one for Henry and one for himself. He takes a seat, folding one leg over the other as he leans forward to watch the boy with a keen interest.]

So tell me about this... Storybrooke.

[Henry would run if this were an option. He's no match for the Dark one, even with learning how to use a sword. He has to play it safe right now. He'll jump at the sudden bit of magic, but when it just seems to be chairs he'll slowly sit in the one meant for him.]

It's the town where I live in, but, it's also where everyone in the enchanted forest ended up because of the curse.

Yes yes, I know that much. [He gives an impatient wave of the hand.]

What of the savior? Is she doing her job?

[Line face all the way.]

The curse is broken if that's what you mean.

[dealsforaprice]

[Ding ding ding! That's the answer he was fishing for! He claps his hands together, looking absolutely delighted.]

Wonderful! I knew she would have what it takes! There's no power quite like true love.

But, the only problem is everyone who was cursed can't leave the town without forgetting who they are again.

[That, however, is not an answer Rumplestiltskin was hoping for. That eerie cheerful demeanor vanishes, to be replaced by something far more ugly. Meanwhile, his voice takes on a low, threatening whisper.]

... You want to run that by me again?

...Anyone who was cursed who crosses the town line forgets who they are.

[He's trying to remain as neutral faced as possible. Hey, not his fault that happened. Don't shoot the messenger, Rumple.]

[His eyes narrow and he hops to his feet, towering over Henry. However, he won't harm the boy, oh no. He whips around and with the sweep of an arm, he sends his chair flying. It smashes against the wall of a nearby house. However, the noise is drowned out by Rumplestiltskin's booming voice.]

IMPOSSIBLE! The curse was supposed to work the way I want it to!

[And Henry will jump a bit as Rumple does. Oh, God what did he get himself into he'll keep in his seat, looking to the man as his tantrum starts.]

All magic comes with a price...maybe that was part of the price.

Why do I only have one bitchfit icon...?

[At the sound of that, he breaks into a fit of loud, high-pitched cackling. The irony of that saying is entirely too appropriate, but he doesn't accept it. He doesn't want to accept it.]

The price?! Don't get me started on the price, boy! I've paid my dues! [All those years he's spent preparing for this curse- all the things he's had to surrender in favor of it...!]

Well, what could it be than? I'm not lying. Why wouldn't lie about something like this.

I know you're not lying, you silly boy. [He can tell. Just like Emma, he can tell. At least he's calming down somewhat, now.]

Our dear Queen must've done something wrong when she cast the curse. Prodigy or not, this is what happens when you leave the most advanced magic in the hands of a mere apprentice.

[Henry had found out awhile ago Mr.Gold had been the one to create the curse, but really?]

It shouldn't have been cast at all.

[Rumplestiltskin takes a few deep breaths through his nose to calm himself, his fingers lacing together. Then the nasty sneer returns to his face.]

Let me ask you a question, dearie. Let's say the curse hadn't been cast and your mother had been given the life her parents wanted. Running around the palace courtyard as a young tot, wearing pretty dresses, attending her first royal ball... Where would you be?

[Oh...now that's a question Henry's never really thought of. If the curse never been cast...he wouldn't be here would he? But...]

Even if I was born because of it, it doesn't make it right.

So tell me, what exactly is wrong about the curse being cast?

[He honestly doesn't get why these people should complain. It's not like the Enchanted Forest is such a great place to live in- especially for those who don't know how to use magic either way. As for lovers being torn apart, the curse was made to be broken, so they would have their happy reunions anyway.]

Everyone forgot who they were and were taken away form the people they loved for twenty eight years. It wasn't right. No one should be separated from the people they love.
